 The entities responsible for processing your personal data are INOVEI – INOVAÇÃO, ECONOMATO E INFORMÁTICA, LDA, known as INOVEI.

 At INOVEI we process your personal data with your consent, when you make a purchase, when you contract a service or when you use our website. This treatment can be done orally, in writing or through our website.

INOVEI guarantees that your personal data is only processed for the purposes communicated to you, and is not used for any other purpose. Therefore, we process your personal data to guarantee the quality of the service we provide and to be able to better respond to your needs. Whenever necessary, INOVEI may transmit your personal data to third parties – INOVEI partner companies, for example, freight transport companies – solely and exclusively for the purpose of performing a service you have contracted, such as delivering a product to your home. Your personal data may also be communicated, in compliance with the law, to State entities, such as the Tax Authority.

1. Framework 

 This Privacy Policy establishes INOVEI's commitment to its Customers in terms of protecting personal data, aiming to reinforce and consolidate its relationship of trust and proximity. Through this Privacy Policy, INOVEI informs its Customers regarding the treatments it carries out with their data, as well as the rights it recognizes as holders of personal data. INOVEI operates in strict compliance with the principles described in this policy, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and applicable data protection legislation, in all personal data processing activities that are your responsibility. INOVEI processes personal data through various operational and technical means that support the activities of its business processes. 

a) Objectives 

The Privacy Policy, as a communication instrument, has the following main objectives: 

- Strengthen and consolidate INOVEI’s relationship of trust and proximity with its Customers; 

- Demonstrate transparency in the processing of personal data carried out by INOVEI; 

- Inform Customers of their rights, as holders of personal data, and how they can exercise them; 

- Inform Customers about the INOVEI Responsible Persons to whom they can request the exercise of their rights, or clarify how their personal data is processed;  

b) Scope of application 

The Privacy Policy applies exclusively to the processing of personal data carried out by INOVEI, in the context of the intended purposes. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, personal data is considered to be any and all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. A Customer who can be identified directly or indirectly, namely through an identification number or through specific characteristics of their physical, physiological, genetic, cultural or social identity, is identifiable.

a) Our commitment 

The protection of your personal data is a priority for INOVEI. 

We are committed to only processing your personal data that is strictly necessary to provide you with the best services, ensuring transparency in information and application of best practices in the field of security and protection of personal data. 

Whenever your personal data is processed by contracted entities, INOVEI will require that these entities present the same level of guarantee of privacy and security in terms of personal data protection. 

We want to earn your trust and make you feel that your personal data is safe with us, as we will always be committed to protecting your privacy, assuming, with great seriousness and commitment, our responsibilities with regard to the protection of your personal data. 

b) What personal data do we use and what do we use it for? 

INOVEI is committed to only processing personal data strictly necessary for each process. 

For example: 

ii.Online - Within the scope of the online account, INOVEI processes your identification data (name, tax identification number and date of birth), contact data (mobile phone number, email and address) and consumption history ( preferences). This data is used to provide you with additional services. Your personal data is used to allow you to purchase items remotely and access your purchase history. 

iii.Transaction Management – Whenever you request to indicate your tax identification number in your purchases, we need to register it and transmit it to the Tax Authority; 

iv.Direct Marketing – We will also need your contact details (email and mobile phone number) so that we can send you informative communications about news, campaigns and offers, discounts or benefits, generic or targeted. You may, at any and all time, unsubscribe from receiving this type of communications; 

c) How long do we keep your personal data? 

We only retain your personal data for the period strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes identified above, within legal limits. Once the defined retention period has expired, INOVEI undertakes to eliminate, destroy or anonymize your personal data. In general, INOVEI retains transaction data for a period of 10 years, this being the period defined by law, as well as the maximum reasonable useful life of our equipment. Regarding video surveillance, we only keep your personal data for a period of 30 days, as required by law. d) Who can we share your personal data with? 

In certain cases, we may disclose your personal data to entities that provide us with services, in the context of home deliveries, repairs and service of articles, financial services and marketing actions. We will transmit your personal data to the Tax Authority, by imposition Cool. INOVEI does not, under any circumstances, share your personal data with other companies or brands for other commercial purposes. 

e) What are your rights and how can you exercise them? 

As a rule, the holder of personal data has the following rights in terms of data protection: right of access, right of rectification, right of erasure, right of limitation, right of portability, right of opposition and right not to be subject to automated decisions. In cases where you have provided consent for certain processing of your personal data, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, you must do so via email geral@inoveipro.pt. INOVEI will carefully analyze the requests, evaluating their legitimacy and relevance, committing to respond in a timely manner. If necessary, the holder of personal data may also lodge a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD ). 

f) How do we protect your personal data? 

We have a variety of information security measures, aligned with best national and international practices, in order to protect your personal data, including technological controls, administrative, technical, physical measures and procedures that guarantee the protection of your personal data, preventing its misuse, unauthorized access and disclosure, its loss, its improper or inadvertent alteration, or its unauthorized destruction. In terms of information security, we assume the same commitment to continuous improvement that we adhere to in our daily activities. 

Among others, we highlight the following measures: 

i. Restricted access to your personal data; 

ii. Storing and transmitting personal data securely; 

iii. Protection of information systems through devices that prevent unauthorized access to your personal data; 

iv. Implementation of mechanisms that guarantee the safeguarding of the integrity and quality of your personal data; 

v. Permanent monitoring of information systems, with the aim of preventing, detecting and preventing the misuse of your personal data; 

vi. Redundancy of equipment for storing, processing and communicating personal data, to avoid loss of availability.
